I ventured to New York’s Roosevelt Island to try and get a great capture the annual Manhattanhenge, when the sunset aligns with the city’s street grid. I was disappointed that I wasn’t getting the photo I wanted. Then I simply turned to my right, and there was a glint of gold reflecting off a building and dancing on the water under the 59th Street Bridge. I quickly changed to my 10mm lens and was no longer disappointed. Nikon D5200, 10mm, F8, 1/200
