Gold Lake in the Lakes Basin area of Graeagle California. I found this spot in the afternoon and wondered if the reflection of the tree's and stars would come through at night. I got better results than expected. Shot with the Nikon D800 using a 15mm Zeiss Distagon. 30 seconds at ISO 3200. Used a hand held strobe to illuminate the foreground and set the white balance to 3200 kelvin.
