I've always avoided Upper Antelope because I heard horror stories about the crowds, but I finally gave it a shot (so to speak). The experience actually wasn't that bad, the crowds were pretty well managed and I got some nice shots. The Navajo guides throw sand into the light beams, and as it settles it drifts into the air and creates some unique images. Gear: Canon 5D MkIII, Canon 16-35mm lens, tripod, cable release (very important!) Settings: 35mm focal length, f11, 1/6 sec shutter speed, ISO 125.
