Coming down along Newfound Gap in the Smoky's with the temperature at 3 degrees you could easily pinpoint the small falls that runoff the side of the mountain. I found one that interested me and decided to go check it out. Water flowed underneath most of the ice, except for the gap in the middle. I imagine if the temperature stays the way it has for the past little bit, it to will close in.
