I had a photo credential and could shoot from some very close positions during the practice runs. I even got next to the jumping ramp for a while. This shot was done from a little farther back with a wider angle to get the jumper near the top of his jump. Note the observer at the lower right. This type of freestyle event has been superseded by newer events which incorporate many jumps during the run.
