Fly Geyser is the name of this magnificent man-made formation. It is located in Northern Nevada in the Black desert near Gerlach, Nevada. This has been such a popular photographic destination, that is is now rumored the owner of the property is considering making it a park avialable to the park. I shot this in 2009 with my Canon 5D. I had to be very careful not to disturb it as it seemed very fragile. As far as a dramatic formation with lots of colors goes, this is as good as it gets.
