This is a photographic montage I made to express the first impression I had when I visited the first the West Coast of Florida near 45 years ago. The colorful sunsets, the carpet of ocean shells covering the beaches and the seagulls that ate from my hands were like MAGIC !. The hands up symbolize the human gesture of acceptance of all these wonders of nature. After several hand sketches, I selected this image composition as the best expression of my personal feelings. This image is composed of several photos taken in different years and produced as a single photomontage using Adobe Photoshop CS6.
The sunset, the seagulls, the shell and the hands were composed by the use of several layers and adjusted in the frame by the Transform command. More than 30 layers were used to accomplish the proper composition, scale, colors and tonal ranges.
I know some will question this philosophical use of photography, but I would like to point out this is a new expression of Art using MEDIUMS not available to artist before our time. Emilio.

Cameras: Nikon 1Dx and Nikon lenses years ago, Canon EOS D5 Mark II and Tamron 28-300lens lastly.
Exposures: 1/400 and 1/1600.
Aperture: f/11 and f/16
ISO : 1/200 and 1/1600
