The sun was rising along the marshlands of Assateague Island National Seashore. The golden light was perfect and it reflected well in the water. I was set up to shoot the tall grassy areas for more of an abstract landscape and as I would photograph it these birds would come flying in. After a few times of them doing this I thought it really improved the image, so I slowed the shutter speed down a little more and would click the shutter as they flew into the frame.
