Horse racing is a highlight of the annual Nadaam festival in the capital city of Mongolia. Thousands come to watch young boys and girls ages 5 to 10 race horses over long distances. Even though these two boys were well behind the winning horse, they competed fiercely with each other as they approached the finish line.
