I live in Westcliffe, Colorado, which is famous for the nutritious hay that the - mostly Amish - farmers grow in the sprawling Wet Mountain valley at the base of the Rocky Mountains. Every year in Mid-May, when the snowmelt fills the creeks and the icy water roars from nine Fourteeners into the valley, the farmers and ranchers divert the water onto their fields and flood them to get some good growth started. The effect is mesmerizing: Standing at the edge of those fields and looking at the reflection of the sky and clouds gives the observer the feeling of walking on clouds. Or as if you have fields where grasses and clouds grow side by side.
