The CA140 Pod, led by its matriarch, Emma, makes its way through Monterey Bay. Each spring, when the Gray Whale's northward migration brings them through here, the Killer Whales come to hunt them. Emma's family have made a name for themselves as preeminent gray whale hunters and are the leaders in most of the predation events.
