This shot was taken at the abandoned Lequio Resort in Okinawa Japan. The resort was built in the 1970s during the Okinawan hotel boom and right in time for the Okinawan Ocean Expo in 1975. The resort was finished and opened, at least for a while. Nowadays it’s completely vandalized and gutted out. It was the perfect spot for the theme of this shoot. I was going for a sort of nuclear fallout/ apocalypse feel.
