I was out on a solo photowalk near a local lake trying out a new super-wide angle lens. I had snapped several shots while I was out. As I walked back to my car, I stopped and decided to take just one more shot. I quickly turned around and captured this. I knew right away that I was going love it. After bringing it into Lightroom and using a preset called, "Wedding Look Bright," removing a slightly bothersome lens flare, and small tweaks to the colors and highlights, I ended up with the perfect picture of Fall. I shot with a Canon Rebel T3 using an 8-16mm Sigma (9mm on this one), 1/200 at f/9, ISO 200.
