After trudging up the Virgin River in the Zion Narrows for 2 miles in early November, I came across this tree in full yellow autumn color. To get the angle I liked I had to set up in the water and make sure the moving water wasn't causing vibration in my setup. I used a Canon 5D IV with a 24-70 F4.0 lens at 1 second, F11.0, 400 ISO. A variable neutral density filter allowed me to control the amount of light coming into the camera, and therefore the shutter speed.
A cold day and didn't get back to the trailhead until dark but this image, and a few others, were worth it.
