I don't know why I have such an interest in photographing old cemeteries. I do find the weathered gravestones to be very interesting, and I suspect I half expect to see a ghostly apparition mysteriously appear in the final image. Come autumn, I especially enjoy capturing images with the stones set against a backdrop of beautiful fall colors.
Even on a cloudy, gloomy day the colorful trees bring beauty to an otherwise somber scene. This image was taken using a Nikon D750 and a 24-120mm Nikkor lens.
