So I was reading an article Shutterbug posted about how photographers are using old school lenses with the new DSLR's and I have a pretty good collection of old cameras going. I went and glanced through some of my old cameras and came across an old Tamron 80-210 F3.8 lens. It was actually given to me by my father-in-law, he knew I collected vintage camera gear. The lens was in excellent shape and I got to looking at the mount and realized it would fit my DSLR. Now that I had an old lens that would work, I had to give it a try. The lens is a softer lens and has an overall terrific look. This image of my stepson Ethan was taken with that lens and my D7000 body. I have actually decided to add this to my active gear, I really can't get over how well I like this lens. I took this photo in color, but converted to Black and white.
