Outdoor cafes are common in the urban landscape of Paris and are great travel photo subjects because they provide a “sense of place.” My photo of the Esmeralda cafe was captured near Notre Dame de Paris on a spring afternoon with a Nikon D7000 and a Nikkor 16-85 mm VR lens at 50 mm.
