In the ghost town of Rhyolite, Nevada, just outside Death Valley National Park, an old shanty reveals an eerie scene to the visitor.
A decaying chair sits facing the open window in the predawn darkness
as if waiting for it's former occupant to return. This image is a 3 shot composite processed in Lightroom to increase dynamic range. Converted to monochrome, the color of the sky in the window was added.
Equipment was a Canon 5D mark2, 24-105 F4 L lens at 24 mm, F 5.6 at ISO
1600.
