I was on a photography tour to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bavaria a few years ago. One morning we woke to a surprise October snow/sleet day. Instead of sticking around the hotel editing pictures, a friend of mine and I decided to take the opportunity to capture the famous Eibsee which lies at the foot of the Zugspitze, the highest mountain in Germany. At one point the weather broke just enough to allow the sun to shine through the clouds. Canon T2i, F11, ISO 400, Manfroto Tripod.
