I was on a photography tour to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bavaria a few years ago. One morning we woke to a surprise October snow/sleet day. Instead of sticking around the hotel editing pictures, a friend of mine and I decided to take the opportunity to capture the famous Eibsee which lies at the foot of the Zugspitze, the highest mountain in Germany.
