The story behind this image began at Pecos National Park, just outside Santa Fe, New Mexico. As I wandered through the park, the scene of a service entrance gate caught my eye. The weathered wood and adobe texture, combined with the interplay of light and shadows, created a mesmerizing composition. Captured with a full-spectrum converted Nikon Z7ii and an 850nm infrared filter, the photograph was taken at 1/80 sec, f/8, ISO 160, bringing out the timeless beauty of the moment.
