Taken by Sal De Fini on the Hudson River in Verplank NY. Eagles would hunt then take the catch back to an ice float to eat. They would hop from float to float when other eagles or gulls tried to steal their meal. Taken w/ Nikon D-7000 80-400 Nikon lens w/ 1.4 T/C Shutter speed 1/1600 f-13 ISO 400 hand held. Photographer Sal De Fini who waited 3 hrs in the cold to get this image but it was worth it.
