Visited Hohenwerfen castle high in the Austrian Alps a few years ago and attended a birds of prey show. The castle is precariously perched atop a peak in the center of an Alpine valley so the birds actually fly almost level with the viewers. This majestic eagle was released from high atop the castle tower and flew right over our heads! Canon T2i, ISO 800, F11 on continuous burst mode, hand held.
