Hiking along the Ohanapecosh river at Mount Rainier National Park, I looked up and saw the tree tops creating a "hole" to the sky. I really liked how the trees pointed upward and framed the image. At the time, exhausted from a day of hiking and carrying way too much photo gear, I imagined this would be a very pretty place to just lay down and die. Since then, my family has referred to this as my "Dying Spot".
