We have a blind in a field where a farmer puts road kill out for the Bald Eagles. Some days we go and there isn't any activity, but on this particular day we had as many as 20 Eagles that came in for food. This was a very harsh winter when 90% of the Great Lakes were frozen over and of course the inland lakes were completely frozen over. They were incredible to watch and I was thrilled to get a pair of Eagles in flight together like this!
Gear used: Nikon D600, Sigma 150-500mm, shot at 350mm, F/9, 1/2000sec. Tripod used.
