I have several dogwood trees in the yard and am amazed every year with the variety of shapes in the blooms. Instead of the four petals, the upper one was missing and these two shapes appeared. They remind me of pictures of baby birds being fed by their mother.

I used a D-200, 60mm Macro Nikkor lens, opened in CS-2, and finished with Nik filters.
