One of the places I truly love is the Devil's Courthouse, it's pretty much the closet thing we have to our own "Half Dome". I visit this place 4 or 5 times a year & I feel just as captivated as the first time I visited. The Devil's Courthouse sits along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Western North Carolina in the Pisgah National Forest. The Cherokee Native American believed that the Judaculla "a slant eyed giant" lived in the cave here & folk tales say that the devil holds court here.
