A friend and I had planned to shoot Convict Lake for sunrise, this site was where a few scenes from the film Star Trek Insurrection were filmed. On our drive here, we had low clouds, some rain and even fog, which made me wonder if we were going to photograph anything at all. When we got here, the clouds started to clear a bit more and figured we may get some good shots. Glad we did, as the light was just right.
