This infrared photograph of the Date Palm Grove at Furnace Creek Resort in Death Valley was obtained on a March day using a Canon EOS 20D which had been modified in order to become a dedicated IR camera. A Canon EFS 17-85 mm lens was used with an ISO of 400, custom white balance to favor IR, aperture priority, and exposure bracketing.
