The state of Florida is home to a small population of crested caracaras that has survived from an earlier period. They exist in the prairies of central Florida as well as in the marshes along the St. Johns River. Captured with a Canon 5D, Mark II with a 300 mm lens, f/5.6, 1/640, ISO 800.
