I had been capturing images at sunrise of Lone Mountain in Big Sky, Montana reflected in this roadside puddle for several weeks. On this day, the puddle was frozen but the texture of the ice and the subdued reflection still created a compelling image so I stuck around for a while trying different angles. Much to my delight this Red Fox showed up and allowed me to capture several images of her before she moved on.
