Last summer we were in the Galapagos. (Yes it was on my bucket list.) We saw an amazing array of flora and fauna up close. However we were walking around the small island of Santa Cruz where there was a marshy area and I was struck by the reflection of the common stilt wading there. Although not one of the exotic birds on the islands, the bird was enjoying his stay. I was using a Nikon D7100 and an 18-200 mm f/3.5-5.6 lens set to aperture priority 1/500 sec. at f/9.0. I cropped a little and adjusted the exposure, sharpening, and contrast in lightroom.
