The façade of the Church and Convent of San Pedro in Lima is an outstanding example of colonial-era neoclassical architecture. Constructed in 1638, its interior is one of the finest examples of baroque Arte-Sacro in Latin Amercia. Its sumptuously decorated gilded altars, Moorish-style carvings and glazed tiles have change little over the centuries.
