Thank you very much! I really like this shot a lot. Can you reveal why this fern is so bright? Was it dead? Great shot.

Yes, the fern was dead. It was a bright golden color and everything around it was dark green. I did see a photo in a Ansel Adams book , where he had photographed a dead fern amidst living ones and that is where I got the idea for the shot.
