While making one of my family's favorite desserts one day, I decided to try taking a photo of the finished product. This was the result. I used my Nikon D3200 camera with a Tamron 18-270mm lens at 42mm. My settings were: f/4.8, 1/200 sec. @ ISO 200. The photo was shot in my kitchen with ambient overhead lighting and an X-it Pro series digital TTL flash with a Gary Fong Lightspere diffuser. I used a piece of black paper to tone down any unwanted reflections. I made only slight adjustments to exposure and color in post production.
