The Chilean Flamingo (Phoenicopterus chilensis) is one of the large species of flamingos about 50" tall and closely related to the American Flamingo. It breeds in South America from Ecuador and Peru to Chile and Argentina and east to Brazil. Same were found in Utah and California.
