In Hallo Bay, Alaska, we were photographing a sow and her three cubs. Suddenly the cubs ran to mom and when we looked to the left, we saw the reason why...a wolf was slowly walking toward them. Mom didn't seem too upset but carefully watched as the wolf walked directly in front of them and then continued right past them...he never made eye contact and never looked at them, just continued walking. The camera used was a Nikon D500, the lens a Nikon 80-400 f/4.5-5.6. Exposure was f/8, 1/1000 sec, ISO 1600.
