Calderwood Dam and the Great Smoky Mountains reflecting onto Calderwood Lake. Driving along the Tail of the Dragon (318 curves in 11 miles) leaving Fontana Dam you come to a small pull off at the top of the mountain, about 8 miles into the 11 mile stretch of the Tail of the Dragon. This pull off overlooks the Calderwood Dam holding back the Calderwood lake, it is one of many dams and many lakes just before you get to the Little Tennessee River that borders the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
This was taken in 3 separate images that was combined in Lightroom to create a vertical panorama.
