My father is a huge botany fan, so when he visits me in London, its usually a safe bet to take him and my Mum to Kew Gardens. This time I had just bought a new nifty fifty so decided to undertake a photo safari to test it out. I photographed these cacti - I love their texture, prickly and smooth, and their vivid green. Pleased with the lens too, and the bokeh effect background.
