This image was made at the Cockrell Butterfly Center and the Museum of Natural History in Houston. I really liked the symmetrical holes in the leaves of this plant, but there never seemed to be any butterflies near it. Finally, right before I left, this Heliconius landed in the perfect spot and waited for me.
