While out taking pictures in Sointula, BC, we came across a fantastic piece of driftwood. Now while others thought that taking a picture of it with the lighthouse in the background made a nice shot, it seemed to me like this leviathan of dead wood, looked like something out of a Tim Burton animated feature. So with a great deal of manipulation (adjusting the light curves, changing the blue hues to purple and drastically increasing the contrast) I finally came up with something that looks like it belongs in The Nightmare Before Christmas.
