Living in Northern AZ we contend with lots of fires or threats of fire, which is a nature part of our forests. If it's not fires, it's prescribed burns. These burns leave the trees scorched and haze in the sky. This particular burned tree made me think of scorched art as it stood alone with the light streaming down on it through the trees and the haze.
