"Bug On Milkweed Pod", Northern Illinois

I was using the macro capability of the Tamron lens and was near the close focusing limit at 50 mm. This caused the typical shallow depth of field of macro shots. These bugs appear in the fall and are very colorful. This particular one is not yet mature and remained quite still while I was shooting.
