Emilio Fernandez

Image captured years ago in studio set up in Cincinnati Camera Club. The model was a Franciscan Brother I new for years, and I invited him to the Club in Studio Night because his very interesting personality. I staged the shooting to convey the lonesome feeling of a monk in poverty, like he was. It was a very successful night.

Camera: Hasselblad with 50 mm. lens on tripod
Film: Kodak T-Max 100 ISO, 120 size.
I used the Zone system with a spot meter.
Exposure: 1/30 sec.
Aperture: f/16
Film developing: N-1
Negative scanned with Plustek OpticFilm 120.
Image edited with CS6.
Increased contrast slightly.
