In August of 2007, after the Minneapolis Bridge Interstate 35W collapsed, many other bridges in the U.S. were inspected and shortly after closed due to being too dangerous to stay in use. In my hometown of Fenton, Missouri, we had one of those dangerous bridges. The "Old Gravois Bridge" was closed shortly after the Minneapolis disaster and turned into a walking/bicycle path and a few years later demolished. This is a shot of the new bridge being built over the Meramec River in October of 2011. Canon 5D on a tripod, 1/20 sec at f/22 .. A Canon 10-200mm f/2.8 leans was used at 100mm
