While traveling around New Hampshire photographing the States Historic Covered Bridges we came upon this old wooden bridge that was closed to traffic. Unable to go unnoticed was the ragging river and the ice buildup on the piers. In taking the shot I noticed that due to the weight of the ice and the force of the water the piers were being separated from the main bridge platform. As can be seen in the photo.
