Arising before dawn one morning while visiting Bradenton, Florida, I observed the incredible red sky and clouds through the trees. Grabbing my gear and jumping in the car I knew I would have to find a good spot compositionally before this would fade. Fortunately a boat launch on the Braden River was nearby and I got the image in time.
