As I was chasing birds and butterflies in Dayton Ohio on a Sunday morning, I drove by Eastwood Metro Park in Dayton. I happened to notice boat races in the small lake there, so I turned around and made my way to the lakeshore. I ended up spending a few hours there photographing boat races.

These boats were small but fast and a lot of fun to shoot. In many of the shots I can actually see the racer's eyes!
