Tugboat Bumpers
The bow of a tugboat takes a lot of hits. Since there are 290 million vehicle tires discarded annually in the US alone, that makes for a lot of free bumpers. And tire swings, if you have grandkids, a big tree and live in 1950.
This is the Capt Alix, built in 1952.
