The Blue Swallow Motel on old historic Route 66 is still in business in Tucumcari, New Mexico. It has been remodeled and is now in the same condition as it was when new in the 50s. The rainbow of colors on the neon signs and building makes it an eye catcher as you drive by after dark. You had better call ahead if you want to experience it because they stay full most of the time and it is a flash back to the past.
