The Blue Swallow Motel on old historic Route 66 is still in business in Tucumcari New Mexico. It has been restored to it's original condition as it was in the 50s. The office and the neon sign display a rainbow of colors that is an eye catcher as you drive by at night. You had better call ahead if you want to experience a flash back from the past and spend a night or two there because they stay pretty booked up.
